ISBN and ISSN are very important in identifying and locating books and journals either in libraries, bookshops or elsewhere.

In Rwanda ISBN & ISSN are issued by Rwanda Cultural Heritage Academy (RCHA) after submission of the application and all requirements.

The application is composed of a letter adressed to RCHA and form available at this website.

Below is the cost of the service:

  • 2,000 frw when requested numbers are below 10
  • 1,000 frw when requested numbers are from 10 and above.
